About Us

Your trusted companion for Maharashtra’s Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana

We know government schemes can feel overwhelming. The forms, the documents, the endless technical steps like eKYC – it’s enough to make anyone hesitate.

That’s exactly why we created this space.

What we do

ladki-bahin-ekyc.com is an independent, educational portal built for women across Maharashtra. Our single mission is to take the confusion out of the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana and the eKYC process that comes with it.

We break down official procedures into simple, step‑by‑step guides – in plain language, without the bureaucratic jargon.

  • What is eKYC and why is it needed?
  • How to complete your eKYC online or at a common service centre.
  • Which documents work, and what to do if something goes wrong.
  • Realistic timelines, common mistakes, and how to avoid them.

We don’t rush you. We don’t assume you already know the technical terms. We just explain things clearly – like a helpful neighbour who has already done the research for you.

Our commitment to you

  • Accuracy first – We cross‑check every update against official Maharashtra government notifications and reliable sources.
  • No fine‑print tricks – If something changes, we update our articles immediately and flag it clearly.
  • Empathy in every line – We write for real women, not for search engines. Many of our readers are accessing government services for the first time, and we honour that.

A very important disclaimer (please read)

This website (ladki-bahin-ekyc.com) is NOT a government website and is NOT affiliated with any Maharashtra state or central government authority.

We are an independent informational blog created solely to help women understand the Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana and the eKYC process.

For official information, application status, or legal documentation, please always refer to the official Maharashtra government portal or visit your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC).

Nothing on this site should be considered legal or official advice. We simplify and explain – only government officials can approve or deny your application.

Why we started this

One of our team members watched her own mother struggle to understand a similar scheme’s KYC process. A simple document mismatch caused weeks of delay – not because of any fault, but because no one had explained it in a language she could easily follow.

That frustration stayed with us.

We realised that thousands of eligible women were missing out on benefits simply because the process looked too hard. The paperwork was there, the will was there – but the clear guidance was missing.

So we built this site. No funding from any political party or government body. Just a small team of content strategists, research volunteers, and tech helpers who believe that information should never be a barrier to empowerment.

Let’s stay real with each other

We are not perfect, and we are not all‑knowing. If you spot an error, a broken link, or something that has changed at the government level – please tell us. We will fix it within 24 hours.

And if you simply have a question that our articles haven’t answered yet, reach out. We read every message and use your queries to write our next guide.

One last time, plainly said:
We are an independent help blog. We are here to make your life easier. The final decision always rests with the government – but getting ready for that decision? That’s what we do best.
