Is the result really random?
The tool uses your browser’s built-in random number generator to select an entry from your list, and every option has the same probability of being drawn. It is unpredictable enough for everyday choices, but it is not a certified randomness source, so it is not meant for gambling or for draws that carry legal requirements.
How many options can I add?
As many as you need. The list is not capped and a longer list does not slow the draw down. Two is the minimum before the tool will pick.
Does a longer list lower each option’s chance?
Each entry always holds an equal share, so with ten options each has a one in ten chance. Adding the same answer twice gives it two shares, which is a simple way to weight a choice you already lean toward.
Do I need an account or an app?
No. There is no signup, no download and no paywall. Open the page and the decision maker is ready.
Are my options saved or sent anywhere?
The list stays in your browser tab for the length of your visit. Nothing you type is transmitted in order to make the pick, and refreshing the page clears it.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. The layout is built mobile-first, with full-width controls and tap targets sized for thumbs, so it behaves the same on a phone as on a laptop.
Can I get a different answer if I run it again?
Yes. Each draw is independent, so the same option can come up twice in a row and often will on a short list. That is normal for random selection rather than a fault.
Can it pick more than one option at a time?
Each round returns a single choice. To draw several, remove the winner from the list and run it again for the next one.
